I’m going to start this post off by talking about negative self-talk and the power of positivity. This is something that I’ve struggled with for years, especially since I was diagnosed with epilepsy. The negative self-talk can be so bad that it affects your everyday life! If you’re constantly putting yourself down or dwelling on past events, it’s going to keep you from focusing on the present. There are many ways to get rid of this type of negative self-talk and one of them is to say positive statements about yourself. This can be harder than it sounds, but it’s very effective! Even one positive thing that you say about yourself can be more powerful than an entire day of negative self-talk. So, what are you waiting for? Be humorous in all circumstances, especially when you are in a problem, and give yourself permission to laugh. It will promptly change and lighten the mood and makes things seem a little less hard. If you are sad or you don’t want to smile; forcing or pretending to laugh can develop your mood and lower your stress level.

Positivity and Negativity have been shown to be spreadable. Consider the people with whom you’re spending your time. High cholesterol becomes a big problem.
